In his address to the representatives of local authorities, the Prime Minister stressed that this was a year of reforms which will to a large extent affect also municipalities. Not only the reform of the public sector wage system, but also the education and healthcare reforms.

"When the reforms are ready, I will come before you and we will talk about them," said the Prime Minister. He called on the representatives of municipalities to engage in dialogue and constructive cooperation, and listened to their views. He went on to say that the Government would invite mayors to participate in finding solutions and that he planned to meet with mayors at least twice more this year.
