Prime Minister Robert Golob attends discussion “Together for better and faster access to healthcare"

Prime Minister Robert Golob today attended a discussion organised by the Ministry of Health together with public healthcare institutions on the subject of measures to stabilise the healthcare system, and to curb the spreading and mitigate the consequences of the Covid-19 epidemic on the healthcare system.

He highlighted that the healthcare reform had been set as a target before the elections and that the government took its initial measures immediately after taking office.

“There are a multitude of parallel measures; however, we are aware that no one is infallible and that some measures may have to be altered. We would like healthcare providers to comment on the measures so that we may acquire the kind of healthcare system we all deserve," said the prime minister and highlighted that funding for the healthcare reform is now guaranteed after a long wait.

He went on to thank all healthcare workers for the efforts they have invested in the past two years, and for all the efforts they are yet to put in, so that the healthcare system will put the patient in first place.
