Consular services fully restarted

Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Cairo announces the removal of all COVID19-related limitations of our consular services. Clients are kindly advised that prior appointment via email is still needed to approach the Consular Department and that scans of the relevant documentation may also be requested in advance before allocating a time slot in particular cases.

Starting 28 February 2022, all services of our Consular Department will be provided in full.

Clients are still requested to arrange a time slot via email in order to be able to approach the Consular Department. Due to limited amount of available time slots we kindly ask you to secure your time slot well in advance. To non-Egyptian residents we strongly recommend not to finalize any transportation arrangements to Cairo before obtaining a time slot with the Embassy.

We would further like to inform that issuing of Schengen visa (visa type C) still does not, in itself, automatically guarantee entry in the Republic of Slovenia (or entry to/transit via another EU Member State) as the final decision to allow entry is made by the competent authority (the Border Police). Up-to-date entry conditions for the Republic of Slovenia, related to prevention of the spread of COVID19 epidemic, are listed here.
