The last meeting of the Working Party on Staff Regulations under the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU

At the last meeting of the Working Party on Staff Regulations under the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, delegates discussed two regular annual reports, namely on the budget and financial expenditure for employees of the EU institutions and the employment of contract staff in the EU institutions. The working party was led by Peter Pogačar, Director General of the Public Sector Directorate, and his colleagues.

In addition, delegates continued the debate from the September session on the report assessing the implementation of the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European institutions. Among the official items on the agenda were a presentation of the human resources in the EU agencies and a presentation of the program of the incoming French Presidency.

At the end of the meeting, the change in the calculation of monthly allowances for experts temporarily seconded to the European Commission, progress on the Junior Professional Programme, the content of the General Activity report of the Human Resources Department in the European Commission, and information on new Human Resources Strategy of the European Commission were presented.
