Responsible behaviour in cyberspace at the heart of the Geneva Dialogue

State Secretary Stanislav Raščan participated at the opening session of the Geneva Dialogue on responsible behaviour in cyberspace along with Livia Leu, State Secretary at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and Gaurav Keerthi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Cyber Security Agency of Singapore. This edition of the virtual event centred around the security of digital products and its regulatory framework.

In his address, State Secretary Raščan underlined that the Slovenian EU Council Presidency has been running under the slogan “Together. Resilient. Europe.” He added that the strengthening of European cyber resilience is among the Presidency priorities, including the security of digital products that form part of a secure European digital infrastructure facilitating the green and digital transition.

In light of the event’s focus on the regulatory framework, State Secretary Raščan went on to present the main aspects of the EU Cybersecurity Strategy in relation to the security of digital products and discussed the work the Slovenian Presidency has been undertaking on the legislative package on cybersecurity and resilience.

The virtual event was attended by numerous representatives of states, international organisations, companies and institutions, and university professors.
