Prime Minister Janez Janša with Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India
Today, Prime Minister Janez Janša received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, on a working visit.
At the working meeting, the interlocutors discussed relations between the two countries, relations between India and the European Union and the global situation, in particular the situation in Afghanistan and geopolitical challenges in the Indo-Pacific region. Slovenia strongly supports the strategic partnership between India and the European Union, which gained new momentum after the EU-India Summit this spring.
Regarding amical and traditionally good bilateral relations, they expressed their intention to strengthen economic cooperation.
