Prime Minister Janez Janša meets with the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs

Today, Prime Minister Janez Janša met with the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Toshimitsu Motegi, who is on an official visit to Slovenia. The visit is aimed at strengthening friendly relations between the two countries and deepening political dialogue.

First, they discussed the COVID-19 pandemic and Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of the year, after which they addressed the economic and political cooperation between the two countries and security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
