The ministers discussed Kosovo’s drawing closer to Euro-Atlantic integration. Expressing support for Kosovo’s European perspective, Minister Logar called for a dedicated continuation of reforms and for the conclusion of the visa liberalisation process with the EU, which is one of the major objectives of Kosovo and its citizens.

The two ministers exchanged evaluations of the situation in the region and regional cooperation, to which Slovenia will continue to contribute through the Brdo-Brioni Process and other regional initiatives. Minister Logar stressed the importance of the implementation of, and respect for, regional arrangements already concluded.

Slovenia has always been present in Kosovo in efforts to ensure stability and security, both through KFOR and within the framework of the EULEX mission.
