The two officials, who see Slovenia and Germany as strategic, political and economic partners that share many views on key affairs in the international arena, reaffirmed the excellent relations between the two friendly nations. They commended the exemplary cooperation within the upcoming EU Council presidency trio with Portugal.

Minister Logar stressed the importance of economic relations with Germany, Slovenia's foremost foreign trade partner, and advocated further bolstering cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

Thanking Ambassador Riedel for his active role in enhancing strategic dialogue between the two countries and deepening business ties and cultural exchanges, the Foreign Minister wished him every success and all the best for the future.
