Slovenian President signs decree on appointment of Ambassador to Romania

On 19 July, the President of the Republic of Slovenia signed a decree on the appointment of Lea Stančič as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to Romania.

Lea Stančič has been employed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1991. Before that, she had worked for its predecessor, the Republic Committee for International Cooperation, since 1985. She currently serves as Ambassador to Albania. Her previous posts include Deputy Head of Mission at the Slovenian Embassy in Dublin and Head of Section for the Implementation of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance at the Foreign Ministry.
