Denis Zobarič was born on 30 March 1969. In 1996, he obtained a university degree in law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana.
He began his professional career in 1988 as a police officer at the Koper Police Directorate, where he later served as a criminal investigator. In 1997, he began working for Emona obala Koper, d. d., initially as a lawyer and later as director of human resources and legal affairs. After passing the state legal examination, he qualified as an attorney in 2004 and practiced law until his recent appointment as State Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior and Public Administration.
