Office for Natural Disaster Recovery
The Office for Natural Disaster Recovery drafts proposals for the approval of natural disaster recovery programmes.
It ensures a system for monitoring disaster impact areas, prepares expert bases and conducts studies to identify at-risk zones within disaster impact areas, determines the necessary infrastructure facilities and installations to stabilise landslide impact areas, drafts proposals for buildings to be demolished or purchased, and prepares proposals for national site plans in cases involving major land development projects. The Office also drafts proposals for the approval of funds needed to restore beneficiaries’ property and ensures the implementation of provisions regarding the allocation of such funds.
