Peter Papež

Peter Papež obtained his master’s degree in law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor.

He began his career in 2017 at the Vzajemna insurance company, then joined the Minister's Office at the Ministry of Finance in June 2020, where he held the position of Deputy Chair of the Slovenian Presidency to the Council of the European Union. From June 2021, he has been a member of the Expert Council of the Insurance Supervision Agency. Between January and June 2022, he worked as strategic planning and legislation expert at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. After returning to Slovenia, he was employed at the Slovenian Democratic Party Deputy Group (SDS) in the National Assembly.
