Kristina Šteblaj

Kristina Šteblaj graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana and completed her master’s degree at the Faculty of Government and European Studies. 

After working in the business sector, she took up a position at the Ministry of Finance in 1993 where she gained experience primarily in budget-related directorates. At the Ministry of Finance, she served as Acting  Director of the Budget Directorate for six months, and Head of the Budget Division of the Directorate for almost three years. Between March 2020 and May 2022, she served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, after which she headed Gozdno gospodarstvo Bled d.o.o.
