Division for the Management and Control of European Cohesion Policy and Recovery and Resilience Facility

The Division for the Management and Control of European Cohesion Policy and Recovery and Resilience Facility coordinates the activities of the Ministry in its capacity as Intermediate Body under the 2014-2020 European Cohesion Policy, Intermediate Body under the 2021-2027 European Cohesion Policy and Responsible Body under the Recovery and Resilience Facility and other EU instruments and programmes.

The Division for the Management and Control of European Cohesion Policy and Recovery and Resilience Facility draws up risk analyses and annual verification plans that cover Cohesion Policy funding, Recovery and Resilience Facility funding and other funding sources. 

It keeps records and draws up reports on identified irregularities in the implementation of operations and projects in the work area under the responsibility of the Directorate and reports on these irregularities to the competent authorities.

It carries out management verifications in accordance with Article 125 of the Regulation (EU) 1303/2013.

It works together with audit and other supervisory authorities during controls and audits of the projects implemented in the work area under the responsibility of the Directorate.

It plans, implements and monitors the implementation of the technical assistance project under the European Cohesion Policy.

It conducts workshops and training on management verifications and control of measures for the bodies implementing these measures and other implementing organisations.

It participates in the preparation of strategic documents, government materials and formulates official positions in the work area under the responsibility of the Directorate.
