Mojca Erjavec
Mojca Erjavec is an expert in European and national public policies, with professional experience gained in both the institutions of the European Union and at the highest levels of the Slovenian state administration. She has proven leadership skills in managing complex organisational processes, shaping public policies, international cooperation, and strategic communication. Mojca Erjavec is an active political representative with strong regional ties and extensive experience in aligning European and national development interests. She is particularly committed to regional development, the balanced development of Slovenian regions, and strengthening cooperation among the local, national and European levels of decision-making. Her key areas of focus include intergenerational cooperation, creating opportunities for young people, and rural development.
She holds a master's degree in European studies and is a professor of English and German. Since 2022, she has been employed as a Secretary at the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for the Support and Integration of Migrants, where she was responsible for managing public procurement procedures, conducting financial oversight, and coordinating training and education activities. Between 2020 and 2022, she served as Head of the Office of Minister Janez Cigler Kralj at the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities. Between 2005 and 2019, she worked at EU institutions in Brussels.
Mojca Erjavec took up the position of State Secretary on 5 June 2026.
