Division for the Constitutional System and Public International Law

The Division for the Constitutional System and Public International Law monitors and examines issues concerning constitutional order, electoral system, administrative law, local self-governance, international public law, and justice and home affairs; the Division provides the Government and its working bodies, government offices, and ministries with opinions and proposals thereon. The Division also considers the issues of implementation of constitutionality and legality and performs expert tasks for the Government with regard to the supervision of the constitutionality and legality of the regulations issued by ministers. It also alerts the Government, as appropriate, in case of unconstitutional or unlawful daft regulations.
