Janko Preac

Janko Preac is a long-standing employee of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia with extensive experience across various areas of the authority’s operations. He began his professional career in customs service at the Customs Office in Maribor and later continued in the field of taxation as an inspector at the Tax Office Ptuj. Over the years, he has performed numerous expert and managerial duties.

At the General Financial Office, he worked as an advisor in the field of value-added tax, and later as Deputy Director of Tax Department and subsequently as Director of the Tax Department at the General Financial Office. He also served as Deputy Director General, and for the past four years he has successfully led the Ptuj Financial Office.

His extensive professional experience, in-depth knowledge of the functioning of the Financial Administration, and many years of work across different areas of the authority represent a solid foundation for the successful leadership of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia.
