The Defence Inspectorate is a constituent body of the Ministry of Defence. It performs inspections with regard to the implementation of laws and other regulations and command and control acts in the field of defence. It also performs inspections with regard to the processing of classified information in the field of defence, carries out inspections with regard to critical infrastructure and acts as the first-instance minor offence authority.
