The political dialogue between the two countries is intensive and regular on all levels which presents a good base for further strengthening of cooperation, especially when it comes to the economy, tourism, education and culture.

Both countries have similar foreign policy priorities and goals. They successfully work together on a multilateral level within the EU and NATO where they often share similar views and positions. Furthermore, the countries effectively collaborate on a regional level.
