European Maritime Single Window environment (EMSWe)

Member States have established national maritime single windows through which shipowners and shipping agents can electronically fulfill their reporting obligations for ships entering and leaving ports. To facilitate maritime transport and further reduce the administrative burden on shipping companies, reporting procedures will need to be further simplified and harmonized so that they are technology-neutral and promote future-proof reporting methods.
