The tasks of the Legal Service concern the resolution of legal matters and the provision of legal advice. It is involved in the preparation of legislative solutions, regulations and internal acts. In its work, the Legal Service coordinates with government offices, the National Assembly, the State Attorney’s Office and other state authorities in the field of law. Among other tasks, it manages public information and personal data protection. The Legal Service informs employees about the implementation of integrity and anti-corruption legislation. It is responsible for the legal review of agreements and other documents, lawsuit preparation, conducting administrative procedures and deciding in administrative cases at the first and second instances, and bringing proceedings before the Court of Justice of the EU.
