Healthcare Directorate

In the Healthcare Directorate, we carry out tasks relating to public health. We regulate the public health service network, healthcare, health insurance and health activities.

We prepare expert opinions on European affairs and international cooperation on healthcare, as well as replies to questions from the interested public and decide on requests for access to public information. We prepare answers to questions from journalists, parliamentarians and in the area of personal data files. We are involved in administrative, systemic and public oversight. We also prepare development and other strategic documents. We are also involved in the preparation of positions and coordination in the context of pre-litigation and preliminary procedures of EU bodies in the Directorate's field of work.
