Public funds are legal persons under public law, established by the State to encourage development in a specific area, to implement the social, cultural, environmental, housing, spatial, agricultural, mining or other policies, to settle the long-term obligations of the founder, to manage the founder’s immovable property, to encourage creativity in science, culture and education by awarding prizes, scholarships, tuition, co-funding and other forms of incentives, or to implement other activities envisaged by law.
