EU funding for culture and arts education
The Ministry for Cohesion and Regional Development has approved European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) support for the Call for proposals for the development of culture and arts education (CAE) projects in the fields of film, music, performing arts, and visual arts (Public Call ESF_CAE FMVA 2025–2029). The Ministry of Culture will implement the call in the first half of January 2026.

Over €190 million in EU and national funding available for the SAŠA coal region
''If you take a walk through Velenje or Šoštanj, you can see that the restructuring process did not start with the Just Transition Fund. The two municipalities have been implementing this process very successfully for several years now. The amended document was presented at today’s meeting in Maribor by the team from the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development, led by State Secretaries Marko Koprivc and Srečko Đurov.
