The Council of the European Union in its configuration of finance ministers today approved the sixth amendment to Slovenia's Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).

The implementation of measures and projects under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), supported by the European Union through the Recovery and Resilience Facility – NextGenerationEU, is in its final phase. We present the results of measures aimed at ensuring better access to very high capacity broadband networks for households in white areas.

Today, the European Commission issued a preliminary positive assessment of the sixth request for payment of funds under the Recovery and Resilience Facility – NextGenerationEU. Slovenia is expected to receive the payment, amounting to €41 million, next month. Following the inflow, Slovenia will have utilised nearly 87% of the available funds.

The majority of activities under the investment project for the sustainable restoration and revitalisation of cultural heritage have now been completed.

Yesterday, the Council of the EU approved the fifth amendment to Slovenia's Recovery and Resilience Plan. A total of EUR 2.08 billion from the Recovery and Resilience Facility is now available for its implementation, consisting of EUR 469 million in loans and EUR 1.61 billion in grants.

The European Commission today disbursed just over €230 million to Slovenia under the Recovery and Resilience Facility – NextGenerationEU. This is the maximum possible payment, as Slovenia has met all the milestones under its fifth payment request.

The Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Recovery and Resilience has submitted to the European Commission the sixth payment request for funds under the Recovery and Resilience Facility, in a total gross amount of EUR 89.53 million.
