The European Commission positively assesses the proposal for the sixth amendment to the Recovery and Resilience Plan
The proposal for the sixth amendment to the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) provides for a financial adjustment to the scope of certain investments that are no longer feasible in their original form or within the RRP implementation timeline, withdrawals from project contracts or the achievement of the intended goals at lower cost. Under the proposal for the sixth amendment to the RRP, the available funds under the Recovery and Resilience Facility remain unchanged – EUR 1.61 billion in grants and EUR 469 million in loans.
The Government approved the proposal for the sixth amendment to the NRP on 26 May 2026, after which the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Recovery and Resilience forwarded it to the European Commission. The Council of the European Union, meeting in its configuration of finance ministers, is expected to consider the proposal for the sixth amendment to the RRP on 10 July 2026.
