The project covers the construction of a connecting bridge for cyclists across the Meža River in Otiški Vrh near Dravograd. The bridge will connect the already-built sections of the cycling route Štrekna, namely the section Dravograd–Otiški Vrh and the section Otiški Vrh–Mislinja, with a total length of 430 metres.

The project aims to establish a connected, safe and accessible cycling route and promote sustainable mobility. The project will contribute to the development of cycling infrastructure in the municipality of Dravograd and will enable safe everyday cycling to work, schools, and other public and business centres.

The project is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027 and is supported by funding from the Cohesion Fund.

Cohesion Fund contribution for the project, worth €1.566.145, stands at €935.000. The beneficiary is the Ministry of Infrastructure, namely the Slovenian Infrastructure Agency.
