EU funding for a call for proposals to cofinance the construction of ultra-high-capacity broadband networks GOŠO 7
The call for proposals aims to cofinance the construction of infrastructure and networks that will enable households and society to use advanced digital technologies and access modern smart services and products. The call for proposals will cofinance the construction of open ultra-high-capacity fixed broadband networks and the upgrade of existing networks in so-called white spots where the necessary infrastructure has not yet been provided.
The call for proposals will provide households in these areas with reliable access to electronic communications services with a typical available transmission speed of at least 300 Mbps downstream and at least 100 Mbps upstream. The call for proposals aims to improve digital connectivity in areas where next-generation networks have not yet been established or where there is no market interest for their construction.
The call for proposals is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027 and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
The call for proposals, with a total value of €26,529,344.86, will receive European Regional Development Fund support of €17,962,090.89.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation is expected to publish the public call on its website tomorrow.
