Slovenian Economy in Good Shape

The latest macroeconomic data point to an acceleration of economic growth in the third quarter of this year. After a brief slowdown in the first quarter and a revival of growth in the second, economic activity strengthened further in the third quarter.

At a time when many European countries continue to grapple with uncertainty and slowing growth, Slovenia remains among those maintaining a positive trajectory. GDP growth reflects the stability we have achieved together through carefully considered measures, stronger domestic demand, robust investment, and the responsible work of employees across the economy.

Such results should not be taken for granted. They are the outcome of cooperation and of our efforts to create a stable environment in which work is duly rewarded, and in which investment in knowledge and innovation, combined with the safeguarding of social security, supports the development of a resilient society based on solidarity.
