On Tuesday, 20 February 2024, Ambassador Berta Mrak presented her credentials to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Maria Pejčinović Burić, and thus assumed her duties as Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe.

In the meeting following the official ceremony, she assured that Slovenia will continue to actively promote the values and principles of the Council of Europe and the implementation of the judgments of international courts.

Secretary General Pejčinović Burić took the opportunity to wish the Ambassador a warm welcome and a successful mandate.
