On January 26, Ambassador Iztok Mirošič had the honor of presenting the Letter of Credence from Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar to the esteemed First Vice President Stephan Brunner, in a dignified ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Costa Rica. Subsequently, Ambassador Mirošič participated in substantive discussions with President Rodrigo Chaves Robles and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Worship, André Tinoco, during the annual greeting of the diplomatic Corps.

In the vibrant city of San Jose, Ambassador Mirošič held productive meetings with various dignitaries, including the President of the Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica, Arias Sánchez, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, and the Head of the Delegation of the EU. These diplomatic dialogues were focused on fortifying collaboration between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Costa Rica, with the aim of nurturing a stronger and more profound relationship between the two nations.
