European Cooperation Day celebrated also in the Rakičan mansion

As part of the European Cooperation Day, Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy presented the impacts of projects implemented in the framework of the Interreg Slovenia-Croatia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020.

In cooperation with the programme partner Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia and representatives of the LIVING CASTLES project Government Office organised the event LIVING CASTLES Open Week and Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of European Cooperation Day that took place in the Rakičan mansion on the Slovenian side of the border and the Herzer Palace and the Varaždin City Museum on the Croatian side of the border.

The results and the relevance of cross-border cooperation projects were outlined by all speakers and project partners: Mayor of Beltinci Marko Virag, Head of the Managing Authority of the Interreg Slovenia-Croatia Cooperation Programme in the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy mag. Nina Seljak, Director of the European Territorial Cooperation Office in the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia Stella Arneri, Director and project partner of the RIS Research and Education Centre the Rakičan mansion dr. Robert Celec and the dean of the Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec doc. dr. sc. Igor Klopotan.
