State Secretary Raščan and Secretary General John underlined the importance of Slovenia's cooperation with the Slovenian branch of Caritas and Caritas Internationalis’ network in partner countries in the field of international development cooperation and humanitarian aid, which has a significant impact on the development of local environments and the situation of the most vulnerable groups.

They also stressed the importance of humanitarian, development and peace integration. State Secretary Raščan pointed out that Slovenia, as the current chair of the Council of the European Union, was closely monitoring and responding to developments in the world.
