State Secretary Gašper Dovžan and Secretary General Jožef Drofenik hosted a regular informal meeting of secretaries-general of the EU Member States and the Secretary General of the European External Action Service.

State Secretary Dovžan presented the priorities of the upcoming Slovenian EU Council Presidency and thanked Portugal and Germany for their excellent cooperation as part of the presiding trio.
The debate was followed by an exchange of views on joint action between the ministries of foreign affairs and the European External Action Service. The traditional meeting focused on the cooperation of the European External Action Service and the Member States on cultural diplomacy in third countries (including the cooperation of EU delegations with the embassies of the Member States on the ground).
