Minister Logar concludes his working visit to Berlin

On the second and concluding day of his working visit to Berlin, Foreign Minister Anže Logar met with President of the German Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble. He highlighted the excellent cooperation between the two parliaments and outlined the priority tasks of Slovenia's EU Council presidency. He exchanged views with the German side on topical issues and gave an overview of the European perspective of the Western Balkans.

Minister Logar also held talks with Chairman of the Committee on the Affairs of the European Union of the German Bundestag Gunther Krichbaum, focusing on the priorities of the Slovenian EU Council presidency and the European perspective of the Western Balkans. Next on the agenda was a meeting with Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the German Bundestag Norbert Röttgen. The main topics were the EU’s relations with the Russian Federation, Ukraine and China, transatlantic relations, and the latest developments in the Middle East.
