State Secretary Kirbiš Rojs and V4+ counterparts discuss preparation of national recovery and resilience plans

State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs today participated in a video conference featuring high-level officials from the Visegrad Group, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Slovenia to share experience in the preparation of national recovery and resilience plans. The video conference was organised by the Polish Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the Visegrad Group.

The video conference was held to exchange experience of the countries in drafting their recovery and resilience plans. Referring to the drafting exercise, participants mentioned the challenges their countries faced in the process of preparing recovery and resilience plans, and outlined investment priorities and reforms set out in draft documents, highlighting in particular the link between the implementation of recommendations made by the Council for the National Reform Programme of each member state. The debate also touched on the role of State Aid in this context, and the possible ways to set up the implementation system.
