Slovenian President signs decree on appointment of Ambassador to Albania
On 19 July, the President of the Republic of Slovenia signed a decree on the appointment of Peter Japelj as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of Albania.
Peter Japelj has been employed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1996. He is currently Head of Section for European Affairs within the Department for European Affairs. He has previously served as policy adviser in the State Secretary’s Office and RELEX Counsellor at the Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels.
