The 2nd e-ARH.si International Conference, Ljubljana, November 22-23, 2017

As part of the ongoing e-ARH.si project, the 2nd e-ARH.si International Conference was held at Austria Trend Hotel in Ljubljana on November 22-23, 2017.

Slovenian public archives joined in the project e-ARH.si: ESS 2016-2020 held their SECOND e-ARH.si INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE at Austria Trend Hotel on November 22-23, 2017. The conference carrying the slogan The past is just a click away! hosted 20 lecturers from Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and Canada. In eight panels, organized and content oriented by individual competence centres operating within the e-ARH.si project, we presented to the interested public the results of our project so far, we discussed some of the challenges of e-archiving and examples of good practice from Slovenia and abroad. In organizing the conference we took a modern approach and applied information and communications technology, films, posters as well as the usual ex-cathedra lectures.

We are certain that our two-day conference, attended by more than 200 people, will add to the strengthening of the public's trust in our e-solutions which are sure to facilitate the future access to our common cultural heritage.
