International Open Data Day - Establishment of the Open Data Hub of Slovenia (OPSI Hub)

We kindly invite you to join us at an event on the International Open Data Day, which will also be also held in Slovenia, on Friday, March 6, 2020, starting at 9 am, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia - Hall A.

Open data from public institutions is available to the general public and is used by business people, application developers, analysts and many others. Our goal is to further connect with each other and contribute together to the development of innovation in all areas.

The first part of the agenda of Open data day will be marked by a ceremony marking the establishment of the Open Data Hub of Slovenia (OPSI Hub), which will guide the development towards opening and re-use of data.

The initiators of the creation of the Open Data Hub are Technology Park Ljubljana d.o.o. (Odeon project - Open Data for Eurepean iNnovtion) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (ICT-Horizontal Network), with the support of the Ministry of Public Administration.

The program will be followed by talks about the use of open data in the innovation ecosystem, the benefits of using open data for the economy and the presentations of good practices.
