Join us at the opening of the festival and the screening of a movie that presents the beauty of the Soča and Triglav National Parks, passion and patience in fly-fishing and efforts to preserve the pristine nature of the Soča Valley. Emerald Paradise - Fly-Fishing in the Soča Valley was directed by Laurens Bubendorfer.

This is the very first time that a movie set in Slovenia will be presented at the Chagrin Falls Documentary Film Festival. It was co-sponsored by Jan Paulich Jones and Ann Gelehrter.

The movie screening will be followed by a reception. Guests will enjoy Slovenian songs, wine, food and home baked goods. Hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Slovenia and by Best Food Friends/Sylvia Debick.
