Visa requirement for entering Slovenia

Visa is reqiured.

Exceptions:

  • visa is not required for holders of diplomatic and service passports;
  • visa is not required for holders of passports of SAR Hong Kong and Macao up to 90 days;
  • visa is not required for holdes of Taivan passports.

In certain cases of visa procedure additional documentation may be requested by the consulate.

On the basis of the agreement between the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, only members of official delegations from FAO (Foreign Affairs Office) may apply for an entry visa for the Republic of Slovenia at the General Consulate of the Republic of Austria in Shanghai.

Visa applicants from Hong Kong region can apply for visa at the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Residents of Chongqing, Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou apply for a visa (type C) at Hungarian Consulate General in Chongqing or at Hungarian Visa Application Centre in Chongqing.

Residents of Macau apply for a visa (type C) at Consulate General of Portugal in Macau.

On the basis of the agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, only inhabitants of Taivan may apply for an entry visa for the Republic of Slovenia at the Hungarian Commercial Office in Taipei.
