Science Directorate
The Science Directorate develops and implements the Government policy on scientific research. It performs executive tasks related to the implementation of the umbrella strategy, as defined in the Resolution on Research and Innovation Strategy of Slovenia 2011-2020 (RISS), with the assistance of the Slovenian Research Agency as an executive agency. Its purpose is to build a modern research and innovation system that will facilitate a higher quality of living for all by effectively overcoming social challenges, increasing the added value per employee, and providing more and better quality jobs.
