The Roads Management Division performs tasks relating to the management of the national road network, safeguarding the further development of road infrastructure and the coordination of public and private interests. By issuing opinions, approvals and project conditions and in the taking over of implemented works, the Division ensures that projects are designed and implemented in accordance with the statutory provisions governing road construction and traffic safety. It also ensures the protection of road bodies, roadside areas and areas planned for further traffic development.
