Bilateral relations with Latvia and other countries

The Baltic states were among the first to recognise Slovenia's independence. Its bilateral relations with these states are positive, friendly and without outstanding issues. They maintain a regular exchange of views and dialogue at the highest levels.

Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania share similar values regarding foreign policy and cooperate closely within the EU, NATO, the United Nations and other multilateral and regional structures.
