The Expert Council for Blood Supply addresses technical issues and provides advice on the development of proposals for national policies and strategies regarding the supply of blood, blood components, and blood-derived medicinal products.
The Expert Council monitors the supply of blood components and blood-derived medicine products to the market in the Republic of Slovenia, reviews proposed prices for blood components and blood-derived medicinal products derived from domestic blood sources, and issues its opinion on such proposals.
