Ambassador Iztok Mirošič attended the Kids Euro Fest festival on October 18, 2025, which was organized by the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to the United States together with its member states. In addition to Slovenia and the EU Delegation to the United States, the festival was attended by 11 other EU member states and Ukraine.

An Evening with Sunita Williams and the Astronauts of Expedition 72 at the Embassy of Slovenia
Ambassador Iztok Mirošič hosted an evening with the astronauts, featuring NASA crew members from Expedition 72 at the Embassy of Slovenia in Washington D.C. on September 17, 2025, in collaboration with Space Foundation. Part of the crew was also Sunita Williams, astronaut of Slovenian-Indian heritage from Ohio, who regularly maintains her connections with Slovenia.
