    Minister for Cohesion and Regional Development Dr Aleksander Jevšek paid a visit to the public research institute Rudolfovo as part of the government visit to the region South-East Slovenia where he learned more about good practices in research-industry collaboration. After the visit, the Minister gave statement to the media, outlining amendments to Slovenia's Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027 the Government had earlier approved.

For the past few years, the multi-day event has been held under the theme ''Stronger cooperation for a better future''.     Minister Jevšek attended the grand opening of Super 8 in Nova Gorica, a building located at the junction between the urban areas of Gorizia in Italy and Nova Gorica in Slovenia. With the revitalization of the area along the railway tracks, the two countries are developing what is to be the first European conurbation. ''I am sure this place will become a vibrant cultural venue and a fun and lively meeting place for people from all walks of life'', said Minister Jevšek in his opening remarks.
