We strongly welcome today's decision by a group of countries to recognize Palestine. We are pleased that this follows Slovenia's decision from last year. Our wish, which we actively advocated for, was for as many countries as possible to join Slovenia.

A first meeting of the Focal group for comprehensive treatment of children and adolescents displaying dangerous behaviour (FS-ONV) was held in the Prime Minister's Office. The meeting was convened at the initiative of Prime Minister Dr Robert Golob, who established the group on 30 June 2025 as an inter-ministerial operational body to respond to the increase in dangerous, in particular violent, behaviour among children and adolescents.

The Republic of Slovenia is the first European country to prohibit the importing, exporting and transit of weapons to and from Israel
At the initiative of Prime Minister Robert Golob, the Government today confirmed the decision prohibiting the exporting and transit of military weapons and equipment from or through the Republic of Slovenia to Israel, and importing from Israel to Slovenia.
