346th correspondence session of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia

The Government instructs the Ministry of Defence to strictly enforce controls on arms trade with Israel
At today's correspondence session, the Government took note of the Information on the Issuance of Permits for the Export and Transit of Military Weapons and Equipment to Israel, which states that, due to the armed conflicts (a reason specified in indent three of paragraph three of Article 77 of the Defence Act), the Ministry of Defence has not issued any permits for the export of military weapons and equipment to Israel since October 2023.

The Government adopted a draft amendment to the Spatial Management Act and discussed a draft amendment to the Labour Market Regulation Act, which is expected to be adopted by the Government in the coming days. The Government issued the Decree on setting prices for certain petroleum products, on the basis of which fuel prices on motorways will no longer be higher than elsewhere in the country. The funeral service was presided over by the Dean of the College of Cardinals, Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re. The Prime Minister was accompanied at the funeral ceremony by his partner, Ms Tina Gaber.
